Government Announces Stimulus Payment for July 2024: Millions of Americans may require assistance from their local governments as July 2024 approaches. Applicants must be knowledgeable and apply promptly to receive support. Pennsylvania residents benefit from July tax rebates.

Pennsylvania offers rebates on property taxes and rent.

About 442,000 Pennsylvanians will get property tax and rent reimbursements for last year, according to Governor Josh Shapiro. About 80,000 people are receiving rebates for the first time.

At an Upper Darby Senior Center event, Shapiro said, “The Property Tax Rent Rebate has saved Pennsylvanians for decades. I extended the PTRR program and passed the largest targeted tax relief for seniors in over two decades in my first year.”

“This is a big deal for our seniors – and it’s proof that we can work together in a bipartisan manner to get stuff done.” This program benefits Pennsylvanians 65 and older, widows and widowers 50 and older, and disabled 18-year-olds.

Homeowners and renters with up to $8,000 in income qualify for a $1,000 reimbursement. Those earning $8,001 to $15,000 receive a $770 rebate, $15,001 to $18,000 a $460 rebate, and $18,001 to $45,000 a $380 rebate. These adjustments occurred last year.
