Career

The group, which was rebranded as LaBelle, continued to deliver dynamic performances in the wake of their album’s success. Additionally, they were able to perform at the Metropolitan Opera House during this period. This made them the first entity to accomplish this. In the same vein, they established a new benchmark by becoming the first black singing group to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone.
